That one June evening

Looking back, it’s been a year and two since I met my “Wonderwall”.

It all started one June evening.

It is merely fifteen minutes before the clock ticks seven but I’m still a few stations away from where he is and I really need to hurry up.

Switching from smaller to bigger steps, I made it on time.

I didn’t saw him at first.

I took a deep breath to catch some air. As I looked up to see the sky, the stars seem like shining brightly at their best. It was a starry night back then.

I found him finally but I don’t understand why I’m feeling surreal

Amidst the vibrant lights and busy people of the metro, it felt like the whole world has stopped when he suddenly looked my way.

That very moment, my heart skipped a beat.

Lost for words, I did nothing but to smile.

I can’t help but to stutter the first time he talked to me.

That night feels like forever.

Since then, I never stopped thinking of him.

A message from God

My dear son,

I know your struggle. You’re pretending that everything’s just fine. Like nothing has really happened. You can hide it to others but not to me. I understand every part of it. I feel every piece of it. You are my beloved son and I am your Father. I will always be the first to know what’s in your heart.

You don’t know which way to go. You still don’t know what are you going to do with your life. Fret not, my son. Begin with small steps. Do you still remember what I have told you before? That big journeys begin with small steps. Soon enough, you will get there. Keep moving forward. I am with you in every step of the way. If you feel like losing hope and can’t continue anymore, I’ll carry you. You are not alone in this journey.

Never rush change. Change is a slow but a meaningful process. Savor the learning, not the result. Please not the others, but my Kingdom.

Never look for love. It will find you. I destined someone for you. Trust in my plan. When is it? When the right time comes. I want nothing but always the best for my children.

Change for the better, not for the worst

Don’t lose hope. When you choose hope, everything is possible.

Do what makes you happy. Do everything your heart desires. Always smile.

Never think that you are not worthy. You’re doing well in my eyes. You do have purpose in life. Go and find it.

You just have to believe in yourself. Conquer your fears and emerge victorious. Believe in us, my son.

Remember that I’ll always be smiling at you from above.

Wala lang

  • Badtrip nung isang gabing pauwi ako galing part-time. Kung kailan malapit na ako bumaba eh dun pa yata ako mabibiktima ng mga loko-lokong holdaper. Bale nung kakasakay pa lang nila eh kinutuban na ako ng hindi maganda pero di ko nalang masyado iniintindi. Baka kako napaparanoid lang ako. Ayun, deadma lang ako nung una hanggang sa napansin ko na parang ginigitgit ako nung isa eh ang luwag naman ng jeep. Wala pa yatang walo kaming sakay. Tsk, alam ko na ‘to. Hindi muna ako nagpahalata na nakakaramdam na ako hanggang sa lumipat na ako ng pwesto. Pagkatingin ko sa mama, ang sama ng tingin niya tapos parang hindi siya mapakali. May parang kinakapa siya sa bulsa tapos sa bag niya. Magtitinginan pa sila ng kasama niya na tila naguusap sa mata lang. Kunwari lang ako walang pakialam pero kung alam mo lang, kinakabahan na ako sobra. Bumaba na lang kaya ako? Hay bahala na. Hanggang sa napadaan kami sa tapat ng San Sebastian Church. Dagli dagli akong umusal ng isang maikling panalangin na nawa’y huwag pahintulutan ng Diyos na may mangyaring masama sa aming mga sakay ng jeep. At ilang segundo lang matapos ko magdasal, bigla na lang sila bumaba na parang wala lang at nailigtas kami lahat sa tiyak na kapahamakan. Kaya ganun na lang yung pagbuntong-hininga ko pagkatapos. Thank you Bro! Ang lakas ko talaga sayo. Wala talagang impossible sa pagdadasal. Sabi nga sa Psalm 34:4, “I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.”
  • Hay thank you Lord, natapos na rin naman sa wakas! Halos dalawang linggo yata naming tinyaga yun para lang makaabot sa deadline. Oo nga pala, nagpapart-time ako sa business ng pinsan ko. Napag-usapan namin na habang wala pa namang feedback mula sa mga inapplyan ko eh magpapart-time muna ako sa kanya kaysa naman nasa bahay lang ako at walang ginagawa. At least kahit papaano, may kinikita ako. Iniipon ko yun para pwede gamiting pamasahe pang-apply at kung may kailangang requirements. At kung sakali mang magkatrabaho na ako, eh magpapart-time pa rin ako sa kanya kahit tuwing weekends. Nakakatawa lang isipin na yung mga ginagawa namin doon eh kabaligtaran nung nag-aaral pa ako. Nung nag-aaral pa ako eh halos isumpa ko lahat ng Math subjects ko at kung pwede lang di pasukan ay di ko talaga papasukan yun tapos ngayon, panay numbers at computation ang ginagawa ko lol.
  • Sabi nila, bumagay daw yung bagong gupit ko sa akin. Mas lalo daw ako naging bata tignan. Thanks. 😎
  • Yung makakatanggap ka ng text message mula sa isang kaibigan na nagsasabi kung gaano ka na niya namimiss. Ayie. Tapos rereplyan mo lang ng pambasag. Walang puso hahaha. Tawang-tawa ako sa reaksyon niya eh. Pero kahit binubully ko yun, mahal ko yun sobra.
  • Hindi pa ako kumakain. Gusto ko ng crispy chicken skin, yung nilalako na tig-10 pesos. Palagi ko inuulam yun sa kanin eh. Sarap! Meron nagtitinda sa Mendiola pero taena, ang layo.

Ang pinakasikat, pinakapinag-uusapan at pinakapoging +14 destroyer sa Nostale Global. Nakakamiss buset. 😥

Hardcore gamer ako. 😈 Mababa na ang tatlo hanggang apat na oras kapag naglalaro ako. Pinakamatagal na siguro ang pitong oras kapag Sabado. Paminsan-minsan gumagastos din ako para lumakas at pumogi ang character ko siyempre. Gayunpaman, hindi ko naman hinahayaang umikot ang buong araw ko sa laro lang. May buhay din naman ako. Hindi ako yung tipo ng gamer na wala nang alisan kapag nagsimula nang maglaro. Yung tipong maski ang kumain at maligo eh kinakatamaran na. Baliw na ang tawag dun. Ang tamang gawin sa mga taong nabaliw na kakalaro, pinaparehab hahaha. Disiplina at tamang pagkokontrol lang naman yan eh.

Sa pagkakaalala ko, second year college ako nung naadik ako sa larong ito. Mahilig kasi talaga ako sa mga online games, yung tinatawag na MMORPG. Eto yung magpapalevel ka hanggang level 99 kunwari, depende kung ano level cap ng nilalaro mo. Habang tumataas level mo, syempre palakas ka naman nang palakas din. Alam kaagad namin kada may bagong labas na laro. Paminsan-minsan, sumasali din ako sa CBT nila minsan.

Halos lahat yata ng laro eh nasubukan ko na. Bounty Hounds, Ran Online, Flyff, Rose Online, Aika, Spirit Tales, Audition at Nostale at marami pang iba. At ang dami ko na rin nagastos sa kanila hahaha. Pinakahuli kong nilaro yung Dragon Nest Sea kaso nawalan na rin ako ng gana maglaro, bigla ako tinamad. Madalang ko na lang buksan yun maliban na lang kapag niyayaya ako ni Mitch maglaro. Iniisip ko nga kung ibenta ko na lang kaya yun.

Madami din ako naging kaibigan habang naglalaro. Yung iba, kaibigan at kausap ko pa rin hanggang ngayon. Nakakilala din ako ng mga gamers mula sa ibang bansa tulad ng US, Brazil, Korea at Japan. Madali mo nga mahahalata kung yung naglalaro ba eh Pinoy kasi napakaingay at panay ang trashtalk sa chat. Konting kibot lang, nakamura kaagad. Akala mo kung sinong magaling at napakalakas, dapa naman kapag boss na hahaha. Pinoy nga naman. 😆
